Electrostatic Swing Energy Harvester
نویسنده
چکیده
Generation of the electric power by permanently polarized (electret containing) capacitor is analyzed and investigated in the matter of energy harvesting from oscillations and rotation. Experimentally demonstrated the generation of short high-voltage (up to 1 MV) pulses or low voltage (few volts) alternating current that can be rectified and stored.

Experimental Validation of Damping Model for a MEMS Bistable Electrostatic Energy Harvester
This paper validates lumped models of an asymmetric bistable MEMS electrostatic energy harvester against measurements. A conventional model of constant damping coe cient turns out to be ine↵ective in predicting or reproducing the device response. This shortcoming is demonstrated by the e↵ective damping coe cient obtained from fits to experimental results being far from constant under varying op...
متن کاملA single-inductor 0.35µm CMOS energy-investing piezoelectric harvester
Although miniaturized piezoelectric transducers usually derive more power from motion than their electrostatic and electromagnetic counterparts, they still generate little power. The reason for this is that the electromechanical coupling factor is low, which means the damping force that tiny transducers impose on vibrations (when drawing power) is hardly noticeable. The single-inductor 0.35-μm ...
متن کاملA Smart Load Interface and Voltage Regulator for Electrostatic Vibration Energy Harvester
This paper presents a new implementation in ams 0.35μm HV technology of a complete energy management system for an electrostatic vibrational energy harvester (e-VEH). It is based on the Bennet’s doubler architecture and includes a load voltage regulator (LVR) and a smart Load Interface (LI) that are self-controlled with internal voltages for maximum power point tracking (MMPT). The CMOS impleme...
متن کاملEnergy Harvesters for Human-Monitoring Applications
This paper introduces the basics of energy harvesters and demonstrates two specific vibratory-type energy harvesters developed at the University of Hyogo. The fabrication and evaluation results of the vibratory-type energy harvesters, which employ electrostatic and electromagnetic mechanisms, are described. The aim of developing these devices is to realize a power source for an autonomous human...
